Sir,
This is in response to the comments received on case report titled “Recurrent idiopathic gingival fibromatosis with generalized aggressive periodontitis: A rare case report.” As mentioned in the letter, the treatment plan is ideal treatment plan for a patient with aggressive periodontitis. This case is recurrent idiopathic fibromatosis along with aggressive periodontitis. So considering patients' general health, recurrence rate, and esthetic consideration, we had planned a primary treatment plan of gingivectomy with tetracycline irrigation. The follow-up of the patient was lost after few days, so there is no mention of postoperative follow-up.
