Indian Society of Periodontology in association with Indian Dental Association Coastal Malabar branch conducted a Professional Enrichment Program on 05-06-2014 at 7.30 pm at Hotel KBC Green Park, Payyanur, Kerala.

The chief guest was Dr. Santhosh Sreedhar (Immediate Past President of ISP and Past President of IDA Kerala State) and the faculty was Dr. M. M. Dayakar (Vice President ISP and Prof. and HOD Dept. of Periodontics, KVG. Dental College, Sullia). Topic for the program was "CHANGING TRENDS IN PERIODONTAL PRACTICE."

The program started with a Prayer by Dr. Sapna Sreekumar. CDE Convenor Dr. Ranjth Raveendran welcomed the gathering and Dr. Ahamed Shafi, President IDA coastal Malabar presided over the function. Chief guest Dr. Santhosh Sreedhar inaugurated the function. Treasurer-ISP, Dr. Anil M. introduced the faculty to the gathering.

Dr. M. M. Dayakar in his CDE lecture discussed various periodontal treatment modalities and also newer trends and techniques in periodontal practice. After the talk, there was an interactive session, where the members cleared various doubts from the faculty.

As a token of gratitude, mementoes were presented to the faculty by Dr. T. P. Girishkumar, Past President of IDA Coastal Malabar Branch. Hon Secretary Dr. Rajesh proposed the vote of thanks and the meeting adjourned for dinner at 9.30 pm. 70 members attended this Professional Enrichment Program which was well appreciated by all.
